My name is Andrea Davis, and I am the owner of AML Property Management and Building Group. I have been working in property management for over 10 years, and I truly loved it from day one. From the very beginning, this work meant more to me than managing buildings — it meant managing lives, opportunities, and stability.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone smile because they finally have a safe place to call home. Being able to give people a second chance — especially those who may have been overlooked by others — is a blessing that continues to give back. Housing is not just about four walls; it’s about dignity, security, and hope.
I grew up in a neighborhood that many people avoided, a place people didn’t want to visit, invest in, or believe in. As a Black woman who came from that environment, I know firsthand how much a safe home matters. That priority became even stronger when I became a mother. When you have children, stability is everything.
My goal with AML Property Management and Building Group is to bring affordable, quality housing back to the neighborhoods that raised me. The economy is already challenging enough. While I understand that people cannot live for free, they should be able to live without constantly worrying about where they will lay their head at night. Housing should not force families to live paycheck to paycheck just to survive.

There is a significant need for property management companies that prioritize affordability, maintenance, and resident retention. Many urban properties suffer from neglect, high turnover, and lack of trust between management and residents. AML fills this gap by offering consistent oversight, preventative maintenance, and relationship-based management that reduces vacancy loss and long-term repair costs.

There is a major opportunity in urban communities for well-maintained, affordable housing that residents are proud to live in. I believe strongly in retention over constant turnover. When residents feel respected, safe, and supported, they stay — which benefits both the community and the business.
